Opened up Quicken to find many transactions marked uncleared and balances changed

I opened Quicken today and went to reconcile an account, only to find that many transactions (mostly split transactions) became uncleared going back a few years. I also noted that the beginning balances changed. This happened on three accounts. I restored the last few backups, and it's the same thing. I even compared baalcned to bank reconciliation reports I saved and confirmed the changes.

Anyone else? Any suggestions?

    I have some follow-up questions for you.

    • When do you think this issue occurred?
    • Are the three affected accounts through the same financial institution?
    • Are there accounts that were not affected by this?
    • You said that mostly split transactions were affected. So not all transactions in these accounts were affected, correct?
    • Where is your data file located?
      • You can see this by going to File. The first file listed near the bottom of the menu is the file you are currently in. The file path will be displayed there, and that is what we are looking for.
    • Is your file being backed up/synced by any third-party services like OneDrive, Google Drive, or Dropbox?
