Setting Up a Loan Account

I want to set up an offline loan account.

But when I click the Offline Account and Cash there is no option for a loan account.

How should I set this up?

A loan account is a liability, not cash (unless you are giving the loan to someone, then it is an asset).

Also, I assume you do not have the Starter version of Quicken. You need Deluxe or higher to set up assets and liabilities.

    I have the Starter.
Maybe I'll show it as a cash account.
