Vanguard transactions in Quicken are not lining up with balances on Vanguard

My wife and I have six different accounts with Vanguard and have always been automatically downloading new transactions to Quicken. For years, they were spot on. Over the past few months, there are discrepancies in 5 of the 6 accounts when I compare them to balances on Vanguard. Not huge in terms of dollar difference but not a number that jumps out to me as an easy to find transaction. Anyone else seeing this?

I personally haven't seen anyone else reporting the same thing you are describing.

Reconciling your Quicken account to your broker's statement is one way to make sure that your Quicken records are in agreement with those of your broker. Check out this Help Article with more informationon that.

Given that you only started seeing this for the past few months, that would be a good place to start looking to determine where the discrepancy started.

I have the same problem. We have an account at Vanguard and one of the stocks we own (AMAZON) in the account keeps appearing and disappearing from the account in Quicken. It is driving me mad. It has done this for a couple of weeks now. I thought initially it was just getting the transaction - the purchase to settle out, but it has continued. I don't know what to do to fix it. Should I delete the account and add it back in? I tried downloading positions and updating quotes, but nothing works. The security is again missing from the account today.

I am still seeing one Vanguard account that is double entering the end of the month interest payment on a money market account. I have to go in and manually remove one of the entries.

The Support Article that covers duplicate transactions doesn't really apply to investment accounts. Please contact Quicken Support directly so they can look into this further and escalate the issue if needed.
