Performance Report for current holding Not all past holdings

Quicken Classic Premier on Win 10 Release R65.29, Buld: 27.1.65.29: I use Investment performance to the earliest date to measure the IRR for each investment holding. Unfortunately, the report shows stocks that are NOT in the portfolio any more. How can I create a performance report that only show current holdings. I need to create this report several times a year. What is the best way to create this report from time to time?

I don't know of any helpful mechanism. You'd really need to manually customize the report to include the securities to be considered.

I think there have been some ideas expressed to make security selection easier, but I don't spot anything directly applicable at this time. A "Current Holdings" button would be a good addition to many of the investment reports. Not sure how I would want it to interface with account selection? Current holdings of currently selected accounts? Then when account selection changes, security selection auto-changes? (A bit complex to keep in synch, seems to me.) Does an 0.000002 share holding that you haven't been able to clear out count as a holding? (Fraid so.)

thanks for your prompt reply, q_lurker

I was suspicious that Quicken lacks this key feature…. Frankly, I'm very disappointed. With AI tools popping up everywhere, Quicken needs get there act together and offer this feature or some AI agent to make this possible. (Quicken are you listening!)

    Best regards,
