After QFX transactions import, Nordstrom Visa account no longer shows/attempts Express Web Connect

The Nordstrom Visa has had some issues with routine downloading of transactions for some time.

One work-around is to log onto the website and download a QFX file.

However, once imported, Express Web Connect deactivates from the account. Even though the account says it is enrolled in online service.

If QFX is imported, the bottom "Last download" line will disappear, which I believe is the behavior of an offline account that is not updated online.

I do not see any way to re-start download attempts unless you deactivate the online account and then re-add it.

    Sometimes I wonder … why would a bank have three registered entries in the Fidir.txt definition file, using the same name, but going to different websites?

    Which one would be the correct one to use?

    in your QFX file, which bank number is shown in the <FID> and <INTU.BID> header records?

    When you logon to the card website, what URL are you using?

    Are you / have you been receiving notification from the bank about upcoming download service changes / improvements / converting to a new website?

    To get to the login page, I go to this URL:

    This leads to a link, Manage Your Card. The URL from there starts with https://identity.nordstromcard.com/ but there is an extended string of code following URL which may be required for authentication. nordstromcard.com does seem to lead to the same place.

    I have not received any notifications from the Nordstrom account about changes in download services.
