Issues Downloading all Transactions for Delta Reserve & Platinum AMEX Accounts
My wife and I both have a Delta Reserve AMEX card and a corresponding Delta Platinum card tied to the other's Reserve card. For months now, I've had issues getting all of the charges for each Reserve card. As an example, currently my Reserve account in Quicken is only downloading my wife's Delta Platinum transactions to my Reserve account, omitting all of mine.
I've deleted and re-setup / authorized the accounts numerous times utilizing different approaches to checking the "include in Quicken" option that appears as part of the setup process but regardless of which option I utilize, I can't get all the transactions from both the Reserve and Platinum to download for each parent account.
Anyone been successfully able to do this? It worked for years for me and broke some months ago and its super frustrating. I'm on version R65.29. build 27.1.65.29
Thanks

Hello @TGOSU,
Thank you for sharing your experience.
I have some follow-up questions for you.
- Approximately how long ago did this stop working properly?
- If it wasn't too long ago, you could try restoring a backup from before the issue started.
- If this has been happening for more than three months, it may not be the best option.

- You said only your wife's transactions are downloading.
- Is this true for her Reserve account as well?
- Is it always your transactions that are missing?

Looking forward to your response.

Hi Alyssa,
I've been having issues for at least a year after it having worked flawlessly for 8+ years. I seem to recall there being an update on the AMEX side which caused the issue and I reached out to you all and was able to get it fixed for a period of time. The issue has resurfaced and like I mentioned it's been roughly a year since it worked properly.
My wife's transactions are what is currently downloading but I assume that's because of the sequence in which I added the accounts back in my most recent attempt to fix the issues. I've seen it only download my transactions to both Reserve "master accounts", my reserve to my reserve and my platinum to her reserve. I feel like I've tried all the possible combinations when re-authorizing and setting up the accounts (e.g. add to quicken, don't add to quicken, link to existing account) and can't get any combo to work.

I get this randomly with Amex, Chase, and Citi.
The only way I've found to fix it, is to deactivate ALL the accounts at the same Financial Institution. Then click the "+" sign to "add" a new account, put in say, American express, go through the authorization process, let it find all the accounts, link them, and then it magically starts working again. Until some random time it fails.

Thanks for the response. That is what I've been doing for the last several months in an attempt to fix it but I haven't had the luck with getting it to work. It's frustrating, seems like a basic function.

Thank you both for adding to this discussion.
I have seen this happen before, specifically with Express Web Connect + connections, which is what all of the banks you listed use.
This has been a limitation for some banks early on, but as far as I can tell, is no longer an expected behavior. With this in mind, I think it would be best for you to reach out to Quicken Support directly so they can investigate further and help determine what could be causing it. They can also process an escalation if needed.
Hope this helps!
