For the last two days I have been receiving transactions downloaded from January 2026 and also from early February 2026. There has been difficulty reconciling accounts from January 2026 but now the account are totally inaccurate and I have gone through many changes over the last 30 years.

    Hi @stenan7,

Thank you for sharing these details. We understand how concerning it is to see transactions re‑download from past months and how this can affect account accuracy, especially when reconciling prior periods. We’d be glad to help you work through this.

To better identify what’s causing the discrepancies, please review the following areas:
    1. Check for placeholder transactions
Placeholders can introduce incorrect balances or alter past periods.
    Open the affected account register

    • Look for any entries labeled placeholder
    • If you find any, you can review, edit, or remove them as needed to match your actual holdings

    2. Confirm share quantities and pricing in your portfolio
Incorrect share counts or inaccurate price data can cause your balances to appear wrong in past and current dates.

    • Go to Investing → Portfolio

    • Review the number of shares, cost basis, and security prices
    • Compare them with your Fidelity statements to ensure everything aligns

    3. Let us know if you’re seeing any error messages
Errors during updates can sometimes cause incomplete or duplicated downloads. If you’re receiving any error messages or codes when updating your accounts, please let us know the exact message.

    4. Tell us the date range of the incorrect or repeated downloads
This will help us determine whether this is a one‑time anomaly or an ongoing pattern.
Once we have this information, we can guide you through the next steps to get everything aligned again.

I’ll be waiting for your response.
