Citizens Bank stopped downloading check numbers

The new and improved link to Citizens Bank no longer downloads the check numbers (at least they cannot be seen in the downloaded transactions).

I am also prompted to reauthorize the Citizens bank connection each time I download even though this has already been done. What is going on?

I’m very sorry for the inconvenience with your Citizens Bank connection. We know how frustrating repeated reauthorization prompts and missing check numbers can be, and we appreciate your patience while we work on this issue.
To help reset the connection, please follow these steps:

1. Deactivate all Citizens Bank accounts
For each related account:

1. Select Tools > Account List
2. If present, select the Show Hidden Accounts checkbox at the bottom of the Account List
3. Select Edit on each account with this error and Deactivate them on the Online Services tab
4. When finished, close the Account List.
   2. Reactivate your Citizens Bank accounts
5. Select Tools > Add Account
6. Complete the flow of re-adding the deactivated accounts to Quicken, using your bank login credentials and answering any security questions.
7. When you reach the screen listing the accounts discovered at the financial institution, use the Action drop-downs to re-link your accounts:
   • For accounts you want to re-link, select Link to existing account and choose the corresponding account to re-link with.
   • Select Add to Quicken for new accounts you didn't previously track in Quicken.
   • For accounts you don't want to link or add, select Don't add to Quicken.

In many cases, the missing check numbers begin downloading correctly once the connection is fully refreshed. If you continue to experience problems after these steps, please let us know — we’re here to help.
