What happens when you "review all" transactions and you have a filter set?

I have one checking account I update less frequently than others, which are daily. I keep the account in question in a separate Quicken file.

When I update I have a ton of transactions to review. Yes - I could launch this account more frequently, but I don't, so please lets not go there.

If I search via key word for one group of payees I can accept them as a group, which speeds up the process - but if I click on the blue dot, it says "Reviewed" or "Mark all transactions as reviewed." What does "all transactions" mean? All transactions regardless of the filter, or just the filtered ones that I can see?

@MauryJ It looks to me like it only affects the transactions that are currently being viewed. When I have the register filtered to not show a transaction with a dot & select that option, when I remove the filter the transaction that was not displayed still has its blue dot.

Great! Thanks for that super fast response. When I saw the beginning of your response I wanted to slap myself in the head - why didn't I think of testing that out by adding some blue dots in a different register??? Thanks for doing the work!

@MauryJ I should have added that the "Mark all transactions as reviewed" option only affects transactions in the register you're looking at. So you can review transactions one account at a time (this is what I normally do).

I've been using Quicken since the 90's, but I generally do frequent, if not daily downloads. But not for this account, and I didn't want to make work for myself just in case it didn't work. I'm kind of mad at myself I didn't try to go into a register in another account and try the experiment first, but the quick answer was much appreciated
