Fidelity CMA now reversing MM redemptions on Quicken for Mac

Previously the bug was Mac Quicken ignored the redemption from MM funds to cash that Fidelity CMA does. So I'd have to add up all the redemptions and record a "reconcile adjustment" Now it's downloading them, but has them backwards.

is reported as Buy rather than sell in the register

So I guess I need to delete them all or just record a doubled reconcile adjustment.

You should not do either of those things, instead you should fix the transaction by changing the "Buy" to a "Sell". I had this same thing happen in my Fidelity brokerage account last week, once I fixed the transaction it stayed fixed.

Indeed, converting sell→buy fixed it. I had to go back a couple months to figure out where it started inserting the transactions and remove the old "reconcile" adjustments from where it started inserting the MM redemptions, but once I did that everything balanced properly. Now if they can record them properly on download, ideally without changing the ones I just fixed…
