losing data in Bills and Income

When I get a credit card statement, I go into Bills and income tab, find that bill, click "edit this instance" place dollar amount in. Then I go to bank site, bill pay and set the amount and date to match what I've entered in Quicken. The next time I open Quicken, the dollar amount that I entered previously has gone back to $0.00. It does not save the edit that I had previously entered. I have tried doing Online but have had problems in the past, so I do it manually, but I am having problems with it not keeping my edits.

    Hello @Susan Brasel,

Thank you for sharing your experience.

I have some follow-up questions for you.

    • When did this issue begin?
    • Are you using Quicken Mobile and Web?
    • Where is your data file located?
      • You can check this by going to File. The first file listed near the bottom of the menu is the file you are currently in. The file pathway will be listed here; that's what we are looking for.
    • Is your file being backed up/synced with any third-party services like OneDrive, Dropbox, or Backblaze?

    Looking forward to your response!
