New version - Quicken for Windows [Edited]
Why does Quicken keep telling me a new version is available, then telling me I already have it? It does this repeatedly.

Hi @SINGS76555,
Thank you for sharing your concern with us.
I’ve reviewed your account and it appears that the latest update (Release R66.12) has not yet been installed. To verify your current version in Quicken, please follow these steps:
- Open Quicken.
- Go to Help> About Quicken.
- A pop-up window will display your current version and release number.
If it shows an earlier release (such as R65.29), you can install the latest update by following these steps:
Option 1: Check for Updates within Quicken
- Go to Help> Check for Updates.
- Follow the prompts to download and install the latest release.
Option 2: Manual Installation
If the update does not install through the automatic method:
- Close Quicken.
- Download the latest patch Release R66.12
- Open the downloaded .exe file.
- Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
- Reopen Quicken and confirm the version again via Help> About Quicken to ensure the update was successful.
Please let me know if this resolves the issue or if you need any further assistance.
Quicken Laura
