Quicken not downloading Short Sales correctly

I've got the same issues as found in this thread:
https://community.quicken.com/discussion/comment/20468135#Comment_20468135?utm_source=community-search&utm_medium=organic-search&utm_term=short+sales

All Short Sales are recorded as Deposits of Cash; downloading from Schwab.
All I can do to fix it, is to Edit each entry; changing it from Deposit to Short Sale, entering in the ticker, shares and cost sold (cash received)….

Help, looking for a resolution, as this is very frustrating.

What broker are you using? It is most likely something with the connection. I use Fidelity and short sales (at least option short sales that I do) are working fine.

    Schwab.
Yes, my Options, Sold Puts or Sold Calls (both Sold Short) download just fine.

But Stock Short Sells do not. Quicken downloads them as a Deposit. The name of the underlying Stock is there.
And to fix, I need to find each 'Deposit' with the corresponding ticker and Edit » change to Short Sale; enter ticker; enter shares Sold; enter price per share; enter commission (if any); and match to total dollars received!

Unfortunately, there is nothing Quicken can do about it. Schwab is the one sending the info that Quicken just reads.

(Many brokers have some type transactions not coded correctly especially the cover short but the Broker is the one that needs to fix it and I doubt they would be responsive)
