Merrill Edge CMA account converted to "simple investing"

Quicken Classic Deluxe Version R66.18 Build 27.1.66.18

During re-authorization of Bank of America accounts, and conversion to the new Express Web Connect + service, my Merrill CMA account was converted from the existing full investment account format with register view to a new simplified format "simple investing" The display is very basic and does not appear to offer access to the prior investing data or register view. Please see the screenshot. I do not see a method to convert back to the prior format. Has all of my prior investment data been deleted from qdata? I tried inactivating online services as advised, but the new limited format still shows, with no available options to change. Please assist - thank you.

Mine gave me the same option and I cancelled as I have no interest in Simple Investing.

I do not believe your data is deleted - if you go to "Edit" and then choose Complete, I believe it will change back to the current method. I personally don't want to change back and forth because not sure if it's 100% flawless. I also don't know if you change back to "Complete" what happens when you try OSU again.

This is very frustrating if this is not fixed.

@heartsf I posted this on another message board. Addresses your question on simple accounts:

I was able to fix it.

Ok customer support chat gave me WRONG information and customer support call gave me WRONG information.

    1. Revoke access to Quicken in Bank of America
    2. Change default browser to Chrome
    3. Setup all the banking and credit cards (I did not authorize Merrill Edge at this time). This worked for the banking accounts and credit card accounts
    4. Quicken entered a bogus transaction in one of my credit cards called "adjustment for previous transactions" which I deleted and it appears everything else looked ok (I'll know better when I reconcile a statement)
    5. Went back into my Merrill Edge account and connected with Merrill Lynch (not Bank of America).
      1. If you connect through Bank of America, you can only do Simple Account Management
      2. If you connect through Merrill Lynch, it allows you do Complete Transactions

Everything seems to look ok but won't know until I reconcile the 5 accounts.
