Sync messed up all my account balances!!!

This morning, I ran my normal sync, and it totally messed up all my account balances. It ran and ran for a long time, and I had to end the session, as it didn't seem like it was doing anything, but when I reopened Quicken, all the balances were messed up!

What the heck?

Now I need to take my last backup and try to get everything processed again. This is extremely disheartening, to say the least!

    Hi @Pam1234,

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue. I was able to check your account on our end, and all accounts seem to be connected properly. As you mentioned, the best troubleshooting steps would be to restore a backup from before the issue started and to sync your accounts.

    Steps to restore a backup:

    1. Go to File > View/Restore Backups....
    2. Browse the Local and Online Backups tabs to find the backup file you want to restore. The Quicken backup file has the extension .QDF-Backup.
    3. Select the file to restore and click Restore Backup.
    4. Next, you will be given the option to overwrite the file you have open or to create a copy of the backup you're restoring.

After restoring the backup, please update your accounts again.

Let me know how it goes or if you run into any other issues. I’ll be happy to assist you further.
