Comments for Bills

I’d like to suggest adding a dedicated Notes/Comments field for Bills & Income that is separate from the Memo field and visible on the Edit Bill screen.

Here’s why: I use the account-level memo/comments on my banking and credit card accounts to store account reference details (for example, statement closing dates, payment due dates, and routing/account numbers used for transfers). That information is important, but it doesn’t belong in a bill’s Memo.

For the bill Memo/Notes, I want to capture bill-specific context such as:

  • When the bill started and whether it’s temporary
  • What the bill is for
  • How it is paid (bank draft, auto transfer, credit card, etc.)
  • Any other details specific to that bill that I’d like to see when editing or reviewing it

A small, dedicated Notes/Comments area for each bill—separate from the Memo—would make Bills & Income much more useful for tracking and managing recurring expenses.
