Quicken Classic for Mac error -1002 with Chevron Federal Credit Union (Edited)
Starting from last night, I am not able to download transactions from Chevron Federal Credit Union with Quicken Classic for Mac.
I got this following error:
There was an unknown error trying to update this connection. Please try again later. (-1002)
Unable to connect to institution due to a configuration error (-1002), please reset the connection.
Channel: OFX
Type: Direct Connect FI
I attempted to disconnect and reconnect the account, but Chevron Federal Credit Union no longer shows up as an available financial institution in Quicken Classic for Mac when I try to set up the connection again.
Please help.

Thank you for taking the time to contact the Quicken Community and for bringing this to our attention.
After further research on our end, we determined that Chevron Federal Credit Union has discontinued support for online connectivity in Quicken for Mac.
For further assistance, you will need to contact them directly and ask to speak with an Online Banking Specialist at the financial institution. They can confirm whether their online services with Quicken have been discontinued or provide guidance on next steps.

@Quicken Carlos Hi Carlos, I have discussed with
Chevron Federal Credit UnionDigital Banking Product. They are still actively investigating this issue and have given me something information to pass to Quicken Support.
One thing I have noticed is that Chevron Federal Credit Union is no longer listed as an available financial institution in Quicken Classic for Mac, but there is one financial instition listed as Chevron Employees CU.
Based on this above indings, Chevron Support provided the following udpates in Quotes:
"
Based on the latest findings, this appears to possibly be related to a legacy data/profile discrepancy within Quicken’s financial institution directory. Specifically, the listing you’re seeing (Chevron Employees CU) contains some outdated information tied to a prior entity, even though it is pointing to the correct CFCU URL. This type of mismatch can sometimes impact how Quicken Mac identifies and connects to an institution.
We are currently working with our digital banking provider (Tyfone), who is coordinating directly with Intuit on our behalf, to review and correct the institution profile so it aligns with our current configuration.
In parallel, please reach out to Quicken/Intuit Support directly.
- A potential FI directory (fidir.txt) discrepancy
- Institution listed as “Chevron Employees CU” instead of Chevron Federal Credit Union
- Connection error (-1002) and inability to discover the correct institution

It looks to me there is out-of-sync information between Chevron Federal Credit Union and Quicken Classic for Mac.
Can you please look into it.

I was able to complete a download as of 4/8, 12:07pm PDT. Hope its fully resolved.
