How do I keep cents from coming back in my reports?

I have the cents turned off on my reports, (I went to the gear and uncheck "cents (not rounding)"), but the cents come back after I look at the detail of some categories. I go back to the gear and unckeck "cents" and have to save again. This is very frustrating.

    Have you tried this Edit / Preferences setting?
