How to have splits show up in reports
In my Category and Tag report splits to not show up, even though the same category is used for single entries. That makes the report wrong. How can I fix that? I notice this question has been asked before but those discussions are closed.

Could you go into more detail? When I have split transactions the splits show up under their appropriate category in category reports. For example I have a $45 split transaction at Costco - $15 on clothing and $30 on food. My category report shows a $15 spend under the Clothing category and a $30 spend under the Food category. Same with tag reports - each line in the split that has a tag shows up separately on the Transactions by Tag report under the appropriate tag.

Thanks. I figured it out. I was using the wrong style of report. I should have been using "by category". Thanks for the help.
