Discover login issue with Express Web Connect
Ever since changing my Discover connection to Express Web Connect, I am forced to reauthorize my account every time I try to download transactions from Discover. My situation may be somewhat unique in that I have a joint credit card account and a joint banking account. The credit card has my wife as the primary user, and I am secondary. The bank account has me as the primary and my wife as the secondary.
Discover requires me to have a separate login for each account, but Quicken only allows one connection to Discover. This means that I can only connect to one account at a time, and if I try to authenticate one account, the other account breaks.
Does anyone have a solution for how to get around this, or know when Quicken and Discover will decide to work together to work out a solution to this problem?

Hello @cloughbe,
Thank you for sharing your experience.
Quicken should allow you to use two separate logins, and as long as you are the main account holder for the login you use to add the account, the accounts should come in without issues.
I know that in the past, some financial institutions restricted the number of credential sets you could use per data file for that institution. However, I am not aware of this being an issue with Discover.
I would recommend contacting Quicken Support directly for further assistance on this. They can investigate this with you and process an escalation if needed.
Thanks again!
Quicken Alyssa
