Quicken Deluxe incorrectly handles multiple credit card accounts from the same bank.

I have 3 separate credit cards from one bank and transfer reminders (previously set up from a downloaded transaction) for each with estimated payments each month. Quicken downloads the transactions but enters them into the wrong registers. The result is that the reminder is noted as "overdue" and I have to move the miss-entered transaction. Any suggestions?

Thank you for reaching out and for sharing the details of what you're experiencing. To begin, let’s ensure that your accounts are connected properly. Please follow the steps below:

1. Verify account details

• Go to Tools > Account List
• Locate the affected credit card account(s) and click Edit
• Under the General tab, confirm that the correct account number is displayed
• If the account number is incorrect, please proceed with deactivating and reactivating the account(s) using the steps below

2. Deactivate the affected accounts

1. Select the Tools menu and select Account List....
2. In the Account List, select the account you want to deactivate, and then click Edit.
3. In the Account Details window, click the Online Services tab.
4. Click Deactivate next to the service you want to disable.
5. Click Yes to the message confirming if you want to disable this service. 
6. Return to the General tab and remove the account number
7. Repeat these steps for each affected account.
8. Log in to your bank’s website and revoke Quicken’s third-party access (if applicable).

3. Reactivate and relink the accounts

1. Go to Tools> Add account
2. Select the bank for the deactivated account(s). If prompted, select the connection method.
3. Enter your credentials and click Connect.
4. When the list of located accounts appears, choose LINK next to each account you want to reactivate (do not choose Add, as that would create duplicates).
5. Click Next then Done on the last prompt.

Once you've completed these steps, please check whether your transactions are downloading into the correct credit card accounts.
