How to edit a single item for a scheduled transaction when entering.
I have scheduled transactions that I sometimes want to change the payment method (account) when I enter it. I change the account name, leave the category name the same, and enter the amount. When the transaction is entered, it shows up in the account I wanted with the proper amount, but it changes the category to the one last used by that account, not the one on the scheduled transaction. I have to manually change it back. Is this a flaw, or is it something that is purposely not allowed? Thank you
PS I am using Windows 11, but it was also happening on Windows 10.

Scheduled Reminders seem to be a little finicky when it comes to changing the Pay From account as you are about to enter the current instance of a reminder.
When I have to do that, I usually enter the reminder into the original account register. Next, I go into that account register, select the just entered transaction and MOVE it to the desired payment account. That keeps all other transaction data unchanged.
I wish, the programmers would review that and, if necessary, fix it.
