Update Views to incorporate Entities and Entity groups in customizing views [Edited]
The Family Enterprise release partially implemented an idea that I posted several years ago - that the custom views in the dashboard be updated to select specific accounts. For example, one view for each LLC that I have rather than ALL the business accounts in ALL LLCs. With the Family Enterprise release this is now possible, but on a global basis, not an individual basis. What I would like to see is functionality to incorporate Entities and Entity groups in customizing views. In this way, I can have a customized view for each LLC individually and group them together as I see fit.
Also, the new Entity functionality does not respect the 'Hidden' flag. I want hidden accounts to be part of the Entity for complete reporting, but in the view, Quicken should honor the 'Hidden' flag and not display those accounts.
It's programming like this that drives me crazy. Functionality should be consistent across the entire application.
