No issue to report—this is a suggestion for product improvement.
From my experience, most users do not enter transactions into Quicken on the same day they occur. For example, I typically gather receipts from the previous day and enter them into Quicken the following morning.
Current Behavior:
When entering a new transaction and clicking on the calendar in the Date field, a pop-up calendar appears (as shown in the “Currently” image). From there, you can select a date or click “Today.”
Suggested Improvement:
It would be very helpful to include an additional option in the pop-up calendar—such as “Yesterday”—alongside “Today.” This small enhancement would streamline the entry process for users who routinely record transactions after the fact (see “Suggested Change” image).
