Golden 1 Credit Union Error CC-505: Quicken stopped connecting.
This is still an issue. Golden 1 tells me that they "hope" it will be resolved in May and that they are actively working on it. On my Mac, I have tried, at the retry screen, to click the 3 dots, and change connection. Its says there a 3 accounts, which is correct. I choose change connection. It asks how and the only choice for me is Quicken Connect. Direct connect is grayed out. Then I put in the new credentials that they forced on us (back in February!). Doesn't work. Web Connect and Express Web Connect are not available to me. Is a matter of terminology Mac vs. PC? or are there (3 or 4) different connection methods?
Hi @MRI_Jeff,

In Quicken for Windows and Mac, there are four connection types. The method Quicken uses depends on the services supported by your financial institution, your preferences, and Quicken’s relationship with the bank:
In Quicken for Mac, you will typically see two options: Quicken Connect and Direct Connect. However, you can determine which connection method is being used by following these steps:
Choose your account on the left, then click the Settings button on the bottom right. Go to the Downloads tab and click the Connection Type.
The following labels will indicate the connection method:
You can also refer to our support article on Connection Types in Quicken, which provides additional details about each connection method and how they appear in Quicken for Mac. I hope this helps!
