How move automatic backups back to their default location?

Question

I told Quicken to put automatic backups to another location with Settings → Backup → Backup Folder.  That turned out to be a bad idea so I'd like to put them back in ~/Library/Application Support/Quicken/Backups. How can I access the ~/Library folder in the Backup Folders menu?

The same way you changed it before, via the Settings > Backup > Backup Folder button.

If you can't reselect the old backup folder because you can't see your Library folder in the dialog box, you'll need to turn that on in the Finder. Open a Finder window, navigate to your home folder (this only works when looking at your home folder) and in the Finder menu go to View > Show View Options. At the bottom of the list of options check "Show Library Folder". Then the Library folder should be visible in the folder selection dialog box
