Unable to Delete Attachment — Menu Collapses & Delete Option Grayed Out

I’m unable to delete an attachment from a transaction in Quicken. When I click the paperclip icon, the attachment dropdown briefly appears, but as soon as I move the mouse toward the list of attached items, the pick list collapses and disappears. The Delete option is also grayed out and cannot be selected.

Here are the details of what I’m seeing:

• The attachment icon shows that a file is linked to the transaction.
• Clicking the paperclip opens the small dropdown, but the moment I hover over the attached item, the menu vanishes.
• The Delete option remains disabled even though the transaction is not reconciled or locked.
• Opening the attachment viewer does not provide any way to remove the file.
• Restarting Quicken, unreconciling the transaction, and adding a new test attachment did not change the behavior.

It appears the UI is preventing access to the attachment manager entirely.
Is this a known issue, and is there a workaround to force the attachment list to stay open so I can delete the file?

Thank you for reaching out and sharing what you are experiencing. At this time, there are no known issues related to this specific behavior. To better understand and address the issue, could you please provide a few additional details?

• Is this happening with one specific transaction, some transactions, or all transactions?
• When you open the attachment viewer, slowly hover your mouse over the lower-right corner of the attachment thumbnail. Watch to see if the cursor changes from an arrow to a pointing hand icon. Even if the area appears blank, please click when the pointer changes, as an invisible menu anchor may still be present. Do you see the delete option after doing this?
• Is Quicken Cloud Sync currently enabled? To check:
  • Go to the Mobile & Web tab.
  • Verify whether Cloud Sync is turned ON or OFF.
• Where is your file located? To check, please open Quicken and go to File. At the bottom of the menu, under recent files, the file with the check mark next to it is the one currently open. Please let me know the full file path shown there.
• When did you first notice this issue?
