Why do I have a Quicken On-line account when I am using Quicken on the Mac?

I am using Quicken Classic Deluxe Version 9.0.3 (Build 900.60651.100) macOS 26.4.1. I went to my Quicken Account and discovered that I have a Quicken Web On-line account. I don't want to have my Mac Quicken data on-line. How did this get setup? It has some of my accounts but not all of them and some are updated as of May 18, 2026. Can I remove the on-line version of Quicken and still use the Classic Deluxe version on the Mac?

Thank you for reaching out. Yes, you can absolutely continue using Quicken Classic Deluxe on your Mac without using Quicken on the Web or Mobile.

What you are seeing is normal behavior. In some cases, Quicken Cloud datasets may appear or become re-enabled after events such as enabling a feature that uses cloud sync, restoring from a backup, or creating a new data file. However, you are not required to use these features if you prefer not to.

If you would like to turn off Cloud Sync, please go to:
Quicken > Settings > Mobile, Web & Alerts and toggle Sync to OFF.
