Why can't I update my accounts online in Quicken?

I have been unable to update my accounts in Quicken for a week. I get CC-501 and CC-800 errors. I have been using Quicken for over 30 years so I am familiar with the more arcane aspects of using it. Every time I try an update, my data gets corrupted and I get negative balances across the board.

I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue. Could you please confirm whether the issue is related specifically to Coast Central CU or to another financial institution?

Also, please let us know the location of your Quicken data file. To check this:

• Open Quicken and select File.
• At the bottom of the menu, locate the file with the check mark next to it. This indicates the file currently open in Quicken.
• Please provide the full file path shown there.

Once we have that information, we can continue troubleshooting further.
