REQUEST: If a user selects specific transactions to update, do not reset the "Select" column to "Select All" if a change is made to the "Replace" criteria.
DESCRIPTION: I am reviewing many transactions and making updates to the categories and tags. In this situation, I have many transactions in a category that I am assigning to sub-categories and tags. If I make any change to the "replace" criteria, it resets the transaction select to "all." Please don't. Leave my selections as-is.
To Recreate the Issue:
- Find > Category = Hobby:Boating
- Click "Find"
- The "Found" section displays a listing of all of the transactions for category "Boating" and any of its sub-categories.
- Review the listing of transactions. Click "Clear All" and then select several transactions.
- "Replace" section:
Category = Hobby:Boating
AND
Tag: = Gear - Click "+" to add another item to the "Replace" criteria ANNNNDDDDD the Window updates and ALL TRANSACTIONS ARE SELECTED. Now I need to go back through the transactions and select the ones I want to update again.
Please don't update to "Select All" transactions. Just let the user add or remove replace criteria with no change to the selected transactions.
