Quicken Classic for Mac, connected to Charles Schwab via Quicken Connect.
SWVXX downloaded and displayed as a security in Portfolio View. However, Schwab's downloaded Online Cash Balance equals cash plus the value of SWVXX.
In addition, Dividend reinvestments do not update SWVXX like a normal mutual fund but must be manually changed to be treated as an investment and included in Portfolio View.
Based on older Quicken Community posts, I understand Schwab may treat SWVXX as a cash-representation fund in its downloads.
Is this still Schwab's intended download behavior?
If so, is there a recommended way to reconcile Schwab accounts holding SWVXX and properly handle dividend reinvestments?
