This is so frustrating.
I have reset all banking/credit connections multiple times.
Every time I run the One Step Update:
Multiple downloaded, cleared & reconciled transactions are DELETED and OSU downloads the same transactions again with its own Payee names, category changes & asks to add or match them to some of the transactions I have already entered (not all are deleted).
OSU keeps pulling the exact same 4-8 Target CC transactions from 2025 and asks me to accept/match them. (They were already matched, cleared & reconciled prior to OSU.) 1st pic - no unreconciled transactions prior to OSU.
OSU keeps pulling interest deposits for April & May which were already downloaded, cleared & reconciled multiple times.
OSU keeps pulling checking & other CC transactions which were already downloaded, cleared & reconciled multiple times.
For awhile, OSU was adding back a transaction that I had created, then deleted…OSU would add it back.
What else can we do to help get this issue fixed?
Hi @MRocke, Thank you for reaching out to the Quicken Community.
This post was split from another thread because the issue you're experiencing appears to be slightly different from the original discussion.
In Quicken for Windows, the transaction-matching logic looks back 7 days from the last download, with a maximum lookback window of 30 days. Because of this limitation, transactions from 2025 would not be eligible for automatic matching, which explains why they are downloaded as new transactions rather than being matched to existing entries.
However, the duplicate transactions and the deletion of reconciled transactions may indicate a separate issue. To better understand what is happening, I have a few questions:
The answers to these questions will help us determine why the 2025 transactions continue to download and why previously reconciled transactions appear to be being deleted.
I look forward to your reply!
