Securities show negative on register page but nothing shows in the holdings page

I recently closed out my fidelity account and transferring to Schwab. after all this crap, the register page of the fidelity account shows a negative $ amount for securities, but the holding page shows nothing. There are no placeholder entries. All I want to do is close the fidelity account in quicken. I am using Quicken for windows, version R67.10. Any suggestions?

Thanks for reaching out to the Quicken Community.

Before you follow any troubleshooting steps, I recommend creating a backup file.

To close an account
Select Tools menu > Manage Hidden Accounts.
Select Close Account for the account you want to close.

Type yes to confirm and select OK.

Quicken will automatically add an adjustment to bring the balance to zero, disconnect the account if it is connected, and mark the account as hidden so that it moves to the Hidden Accounts group.

If the balances still show as negative, I suggest using Update Share Balance.

To do so:

Click the gear icon on the right-hand side.
Select Update Share Balance.
Search for the security that is showing a negative share balance.
Enter 0 in the Current Number of Shares field.
Click OK to save the changes.

To update Cash Balance:

Click the gear icon on the right-hand side.
Select Update Cash Balance.
Enter 0 as the cash balance.
Click OK to save the changes.
