MetLife eService not downloading (again)

I had some issues with MetLife eService for some time, one of my two account logins would not download updates while the other worked fine.

As of yesterday, June 11 2026, neither of the accounts will download any of the balances. I have both insurance products and IRA products, and they both show FDP-102 Errors!

Error FDP-102 is typically displayed when the selected bank is temporarily unavailable, or when sign-in credentials have changed at the financial institution and those changes have not been updated in Quicken.

I recommend following the steps in our support article for FDP-102. It is possible that the bank is experiencing a temporary issue, so I suggest waiting 24 hours and then trying again.

If the issue persists after 24 hours, please let us know whether you have recently changed your password with the financial institution.

Another possible cause is the use of certain special characters in your bank password that can interfere with Quicken's ability to download transactions. The affected characters are:

• Ampersand (&)
• Left angle bracket (<)
• Right angle bracket (>)
• Backslash ()
• Forward slash (/)

If your password contains any of these characters, I recommend changing it to a password that does not include them and then attempting to update the account again.

If the issue still persists after trying the steps above, I recommend contacting Quicken Support for further assistance. They can guide you through additional troubleshooting steps in real time or escalate the case if necessary.
