Missing income and bill reminders

hello quicken,

I am looking for an update on the the issue of income and bill reminders that go missing as they get closer to the date. This has been going on for over 3 years now. I have reported it quicken and still no fix. Using quicken for windows home and business. Been a quicken customer for over 25 years.

I know others have also reported it. Under ticket number CTP-15510

can you please provide everyone an update on this issue.

I have never experienced this issue even though I used many reminders across many accounts. Have you observed any other conditions that must be true to experience the indicated (problematic) behaviour?

I checked internally in the CTP-15510, which is related to the issue you are experiencing, and it was resolved in the R.67 version. If you are still encountering the issue, I recommend installing the R.67 manual patch update.

To do so:

Open our support article: Quicken for Windows: Manual Patch Update.
Click Download the US Manual Patch Update for US Version.
Follow the prompts to install the update.

Once the patch has been installed, please check whether the issue persists or if it has been resolved.

I have tried it, but still not working. It will show up correctly after I delete the reminders and set them up again, but as soon as I do the one step update, they disappear typically for 30 days, and then will show up in the following month

I found the open ticket number which has all the details, and it is 10486037 - Opened Sept 23, 2023

I spoke with level 2 support and they spoke with coders back in 2025 but still no fix on this.

Can you please provide an update.

No, nothing else that I have noticed. I just lose a few bill and income reminders as they get closer to the date that they are due. It always happens when I do the one step update. I can correct the dates and the reminders show in the calendar but as soon as I do the one step update a few of them just drop off. I have even tried removing them all together and setting them up new, and again it happens where they just drop off after the one step update.

Thank you for providing the ticket number; this is very helpful in narrowing down the issue. I’ve reviewed your case (CTP-14573), and it is still open and currently awaiting implementation. At this time, there are no new updates or an ETA for resolution.

I also see in the ticket notes that you previously tested this on a new file. Could you please confirm whether that is still the case; specifically, that the bill reminders continue to disappear even in a newly created file, and only after an update when Quicken Cloud Sync is enabled?

@Quicken Carlos Why would you recommend that a Canadian user of the Canadian version "Download the US Manual Patch Update for US Version"? Perhaps the Canadian Manual Patch would be more appropriate in this case?

Hello Laura,

Thank you for getting back to me. I am still missing the bill and income reminders on the new file that I created with Quicken tech support. This is also the same file that I send in so they could see exactly what was happening. If you would like to update CTP-14573 Ticket that is open for this issue as I have also replaced my SSD drive with a new drive and doing so, I formatted and reinstalled all of Windows and Quicken and the computer has been updated with all the latest drivers, etc. This was done 30 days ago, and even when I restored my latest backup, which prior to backing up I did a Super Valid of the file, and the file was completely clean, no errors and the drive still has over 800 Gigs free space, so its not a space issue either for the program. I still continue to see select income and bill reminders drop off after doing a one-step update.

there is a Canadian patch in the same location, which is what I used. But didn’t fix the issue.
