Edit Paycheck dialog doesn't show splits

Discovered this while troubleshooting some disappearing accounts.

Hovering over a paycheck transaction shows the splits. (Unspecified Account should be a transfer to my FSA account.)

Clicking the checkmark to open the split transactions window displays Edit Current Paycheck… with no amounts.

I tried validating the file… and almost all paychecks were "flattened" to include only the net amount. All splits were entirely removed. Luckily I had a backup.

Are recent reminders affected, older reminders, or both?
Is the issue occurring in a restored file?
Is the reminder displaying the correct information in the bills & income tab?
Where is your Quicken data file located? To check, please open Quicken and go to File. At the bottom of the menu, the file with the check mark next to it is the one currently open. Please let me know the full file path shown there.
Is your file being backed up or synced by any third-party services such as Carbonite, OneDrive, or Backblaze?

Is Quicken Cloud Sync turned on? I turned it off… and just now turned it off again, since I had to restore from a backup yesterday.
Are recent reminders affected, older reminders, or both? Both, although the most recent are editable via Edit Paycheck. Some older reminders show the paycheck as Splits rather than paychecks, but that's OK.
Is the issue occurring in a restored file? Yes. I restored after the "Validate" process stripped out all the splits, which not only messed up the paychecks but my entire checking account.
Is the reminder displaying the correct information in the bills & income tab? Yes.
Where is your Quicken data file located? To check, please open Quicken and go to File. At the bottom of the menu, the file with the check mark next to it is the one currently open. Please let me know the full file path shown there. C:\ZuzuData\ZuzuQuicken

I am a NC State Employees Credit Union customer, and the paychecks are in a SECU checking account. I did try to reconnect those accounts but it didn't go well, which also prompted the restore. (Today I was able to deactivate the online connections for those accounts, but I'm going to wait to reconnect until there's some insight on the current issue - community.quicken.com/discussion/7974092/new-6-8-26-state-employees-credit-union-fdp-106-cc-506-and-ol-297 ).

As a troubleshooting step, please recreate the paycheck reminder and test whether the issue persists. Before making changes, please ensure you have a recent backup of your data file.

If possible, could you also check whether the Validate log file contains any entries related to the affected reminder?

A potential fix has been applied for the State Employees Credit Union connection, so I recommend trying to reconnect your accounts. If you encounter any errors, please let me know the exact error message and submit your log files via Help > Report a Problem for further review.

Hi Laura - Thanks for the update on the SECU issue. I will give it a try.

I set my automatic backups to Every 1 Time so I definitely have backups as all of this gets figured out.

The Paycheck Reminder is fine. It's the Edit Paycheck popup window for existing transactions that isn't working.

Looking at the DATA_LOG.TXT from the Validation process, there are a ton of entries that were "repaired" because an account is no longer in Quicken. This would apply to these paychecks because of the FSA account. I believe that the "repair" was to clear out ALL the split details and leave only the net salary amount. As mentioned that had a very bad impact on many accounts, so I restored from backup. My intent is to go into each paycheck and assign the one split to the "missing" account. (Spoiler alert, it's not missing.)

Questions - is the "missing account" issue still happening? is it related to the connection status of an account?
