Why does the Auto-Reconcile get out of whack after several months with the Schwab Investments?

When I started with Schwab in mid 2022 the Auto-Reconcile worked fine on all of the accounts. I noticed sometime in 2023 that the IRA account was having an Auto-Reconcile discrepancy, I let it go until late in 2025 to see if I could find the discrepancy or if it would correct on its own, neither happened. So I deleted the account from Quicken and re-added it and it appears to be Auto-Reconciling fine now but when I added the account back I lost all the data upto about 3 months before I deleted it.

Now recently my Roth IRA account has developed the Auto-Reconcile discrepancy and the data appears corrupted or missing numbers from the beginning. I've included 2 screen shots of the graph. The graph did not look anything like this a month ago before the discrepancy problem started.

Had similar thing happen with Dodge and Cox stock split last year.  Some historical prices are intermittently incorrect resulting in graph looking like the above example.  Quicken knows about it but nothing is done.  Communication with Quicken goes into a black hole and I still don't know why this happened (other than it was after a stock split) or if the incorrect pricing will ever be fixed by Quicken.

When I see what look like weekly spikes in account value like that, incorrect security price is the first thing that comes to mind. Have any of your stock holding done a split recently?

Have you looked at Stock Splits, Mergers or other unusual, infrequent occurrences during that time frame?

Did a security's price quote not get correctly recorded during that time?

Are there any Placeholder transactions in your account register?

IMHO, deleting an account register together with all its transaction history would be the very last thing I would attempt. I'd rather manually compare my brokerage transaction statements to my Quicken account register and try to figure out what's wrong. Sometimes a single transaction, downloaded and recorded twice or not at all, or some incorrectly recorded Price Quotes is all that it takes to fix the problem.
