When transactions download, does anyone else see $0.00 entries automatically matching to future‑dated $0.00 bill reminders?
When I withdraw cash from a non‑Bank of America ATM, BofA reimburses the fee. The download creates two entries: the reimbursement and a $0.00 ‘BofA Rewards‑ATM Withdrawal Fee Waiver’ transaction. That $0.00 entry consistently auto‑matches to any future $0.00 bill reminder that hasn’t yet posted to the register.
In the attached example, the 6/15/2026 transaction auto‑matched to a future $0.00 Apple Card/Goldman Sachs payment reminder, even though that reminder isn’t scheduled to post to the register until three days before the due date. I always have to reject the automatic match and then delete the $0.00 transaction.
Is there a reason these $0.00 transactions automatically match to $0.00 bill reminders.
