Hi @leonard kearney,
I just wanted to follow up since I haven’t heard back from you. I’m checking in to see if you still need assistance.
@leonard kearney You say you know how to fix it, so I won't go that direction. As to what happened or why, tough to say.
You (seem to) say you never owned the M3 ADR (MTHRY) in the Schwab account. Did you own it in another account?
Within your Quicken file, The M3 ADR has a ticker (MTHRY) and a CUSIP (596272109) which would generally mean you did own it in some account at some time. The CUSIP only comes from a brokerage download. But when I try that in a CUSIP lookup, the search yield no match.
The Metso Ojy has a ticker (OUKPY) but no CUSIP meaning it does not match from Quicken to your brokerage download.
Downloads from a brokerage get matched to securities within Quicken based on a CUSIP provided by the brokerage. In some cases, Quicken might try to guess what the matchup should be when the brokerage includes a new security. That guess tends to be around security name and ticker, as best I have seen.
Hope this somewhat help.
