macOS lets code inquire if a file location is on a cloud server… so it would help users if QuickenMac issued a stern warning if a user opens or saves a file to a cloud space. It seems that weekly we see someone posting about keeping their active file (vs a backup) on Dropbox, OneDrive, iCloud, etc etc … not realizing the risk of data corruption by having the cloud service be backing up and downloading bits and pieces of the active database.
A warning in-product would reduce support feedback from Superusers here… and from Quicken Support, I would think.
