not backing up

I'm using Quicken R67.10 on win10. It is working perfectly [downloading, paying, reconciling] but it doesn't back up. In the past when I exited quicken it'd just open the backup dialogue box. and now it doesn't, it just exits.

Dunno if it is related to this but when I checked the version of quicken I'm using it says "subscription expired on May 02, 2026. I don't think I got a poke/reminder about that nor any way to extend the subscription

Thank you for reaching out.

I’ve checked your account, and it does not appear to be expired. In this case, Quicken may simply need to resync your information.

To do this, please go to Help > Refresh Sign in.

After that, I also recommend checking your backup preferences. You can do this by going to Quicken Preferences and verifying your backup settings. The Manual backup reminder should be set to remind after running Quicken once.

To change your preferences

1. Choose Edit menu > Preferences.
2. In the Select preference type list, select Backup.
3. Change the appropriate setting.
