But it would be very helpful if it gives an option to view the data and then accept it rather than blindly accepting it

Transfer between accounts still gives sometimes error

To better understand the issue, I'd like to ask a few questions:

What type of file are you trying to import (QFX, CSV, or QIF)?
Is the Automatically add to banking/investment transaction lists option enabled under Edit > Preferences > Downloaded Transactions?
