Connection to LendingClub, now Happen Bank, broken

LendingClub changed their branding over to Happen this weekend, and the Quicken integration is broken. The LendingClub Personal & Business integration, which I was using, now returns an error about invalid cookies (it shows the new domain name for happen bank), but trying to switch to the Happen integration fails with incorrect password. I am able to log in to Happen's web banking with no problem.

Thank you both for reaching out and for sharing the issues you are experiencing. I’m seeing two different error messages, as each of you appears to be connecting to different financial institution instances.

For the Lending Club connection attempts, the FDP-107 error indicates that the incorrect financial institution is being selected. For Lending Club – Personal and Business, it returns the FDP-579 error, which indicates that you need to sign out of the bank’s website before attempting to add the account in Quicken.

For Happen Bank, I’m not currently seeing a specific error message being returned. However, if you are receiving the “Did you mistype your sign-in info?” message while connecting, please try the steps below:

1. Disconnect the existing connection (if still linked to Lending Club)

Click on the account name for your account(s) in the Accounts toolbar in Quicken.
Click the Settings icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Select the Downloads tab.
Click on Disconnect Account

2. Reconnect the account

First, sign in to the bank’s website to confirm your credentials are correct
If possible, copy your login details from a password manager to avoid typos
In Quicken, go to Account > Add Account and reconnect the account

If the issue persists, please share the web address of the bank you are using so we can assist further.

I've done as you suggested and I'm still getting a "The user cannot sign on because the user ID or password is invalid. (OFX Error: 15500)" error even though I am able to login (using firefox) to my happen account using the same login credentials I'm providing to quicken when I am trying to add the happen account. I'm being very careful to make sure the creds are valid. The happen bank URL is: https://banking.happen.com . Note, from what I see, quicken is only allowing "direct connect" to access my happen account, quicken connect is grayed out. Note, I'm using Quicken classic deluxe (v9.1) for Mac on a macbook pro running macOS 26.5.1.

Thank you for trying the recommended troubleshooting steps and for providing an update.

Since the issue persists after completing those steps and the account is connected using the Direct Connect connection method, I recommend contacting the financial institution for further assistance. They will be best positioned to verify your account credentials, confirm that Direct Connect access is enabled, and investigate any issues on their end.

As noted in our support article, Error 15500 When Adding or Updating Accounts in Quicken for Mac:

If you are still receiving the error, and you believe that the Customer ID and password are correct, please contact the financial institution for further assistance.

I believe this is supposed to be working with the Quicken Connect integration (still called Lending Club), but it's getting confused because of the changed domain name from the bank. Who fixes that? I assume it's NOT the bank.

Click Help
Select Report a Problem
