Shopping Category Does not Add up in Planning Detail

I am using Quicken Deluxe Version R67.10 for Windows 11. See the attached screenshot of the Planning, All Details. The circled -676 Shopping category in the To Date Balance is not including the Other Shopping subcategory (should be -676+417=-259) The circled -76 in the 2026 Summary Balance does not include the Other Shopping Category (should be -76+2217 = 2141). All other categories work correctly. Any idea as to why this is occurring?

Thank you for reaching out and for providing such detailed information about the issue you're experiencing. The details you've shared are very helpful.

I was able to replicate the behavior on my end. Based on my observations, the "Other Shopping" category does not appear to be treated as a separate category within the standard category list. Since the budget includes transactions categorized under Shopping, Quicken may be interpreting Other Shopping as part of the main Shopping category and excluding it separately to prevent duplicate counting.

I would appreciate it if you could provide additional details by reporting the issue through Quicken Help and submitting your log files. This will allow us to forward the information to the appropriate team for further investigation.

To send your logs:

1. Open Quicken
2. Click Help
3. Select Report a Problem
4. Click Send to Quicken
