In trying to Execute my Daily Updates this morning I have been receiving some "strange" Errors (Quicken Cloud Sync Errors) which also corrupted my file for which I had to Restore from a previous backup. Even upon updating again after the Restore, it seemed to work (taking a long time to process) but unfortunately, it was not a clean update giving me again another Quicken Cloud Sync Error listing a single transaction, dating back to 03/13/2026.
What is going on this morning, Quicken?
The file corruption was based on two accounts whereby the Total Balance was ALL Stars. One Account this was caused by a new record, that had a Bad Date and Stars (*****) within the Charge field which caused all the records afterwards, to therefore, have Stars (******). The Second Account, an existing record, it appeared, from way back, was also changed to to have Stars (******) within the Charge field. (These examples caused the accounts to be suspect in their accuracy, therefore, the best repair, I decided, was a Restore.
Given the above Issues, I Again, Restored my File. This time, I decided before I did anything else like a New Update, I would executed a Syncing Quicken and Quicken Cloud Update again. This took an excessive amount of time to perform. Resulting in the Same Error Message as before on a single transaction, dating back to 03/13/2026. It asked me to "Review the recommended (default) fixes, make changes if necessary, and then click Apply." Below the transaction listed, it says "Invalid answerValue for parameter transfer.clientId."
As a basis of fact, I did this Daily Update Yesterday, Successfully, without any issues!
