Cannot add Vanguard Account

Question

Trying to add a vanguard account (Direct Connect). I get prompted for username/password, the popup appears stating that it is looking for accounts, but then it just disappears with no errors, no accounts added, and I'm back at the main Quicken screen.

I checked the ticket from your interaction with Quicken Support, and I can confirm that the issue has been escalated and is currently being investigated under CTP-17671.

The Escalation Team will contact you via email if they need additional information or once the issue has been resolved. At this time, there is no estimated time (ETA) for a resolution.

You can contact Quicken Support to request an update, or you can check back here in the Community and we'll be happy to share any new information as it becomes available.

Hi, I just talked to support and they are going to debug this further. To answer your questions:

* When did you first notice this issue? - today; i didn't have a vanguard account before today
* 
* Do you have a VPN or antivirus software enabled? - i don't; but the support walked me through to disable VPN, antivirus, firewall; same issue
* 
* Do you have any pending Windows updates, or did you install a Windows update around the time the issue began? - no pending updates. everything is up to date. I don't know if this issue occurred earlier as I never tried adding vanguard account before today.

* Have you validated the file yet? If not, you can do so by going to File > Validate and Repair File. then select Validate File and click OK. - yes; performed super validate. same issue. Started a brand new file - same issue!

* Where is your Quicken data file located? To check, open Quicken and go to File. At the bottom of the menu, just above Exit, you'll see the currently open data file with a checkmark next to it. Please let me know the full file path shown there. - data is saved on the local drive "C:\users\username\documents"
