American Express CC-601 (Edited)

Question

Hi

I followed the steps to resolve the CC-601 issue with American Express, but when I get to the point of linking the accounts to existing accounts in Quicken, the existing accounts are not in the drop-down. Any ideas what I did wrong?

After I deactivated all the Amex accounts the fix worked.

Thanks for reaching out the Quicken Community

This issue has been escalated internally, and our Support Team is actively working toward a resolution, right now there is no ETA, I suggest monitor the Community Alert for updates as soon as they become available.

In the meantime, there is a workaround. I recommend deactivating and then reactivating all of your American Express accounts. Before following the troubleshooting steps below, I recommend creating a backup of your Quicken data file.

To deactivate an account:

* Select Tools > Account List.
* In the Account List, select the account you want to deactivate and click Edit.
* In the Account Details window, select the Online Services tab.

* Click Deactivate next to the service you want to disable.
* Click Yes to confirm.

To reactivate your account(s):

* Go to Tools > Add Account.
* Select American Express - Delegate as the financial institution. If prompted, select the connection method.

* Enter your credentials and click Connect.
* When the list of located accounts appears, choose LINK next to each account you want to reconnect.

* Click Next, then Done on the final prompt.
