I want to add a new Fidelity 401k account in Quicken. I created the account in Quicken, and I now want to set up the online link with Fidelity. From the account register, I click "Set up Download" which brings up a window to search for my financial institution. I search for Fidelity and select Fidelity Investments. Click next, and get the screen for me to give permissions (consent) to access my data. I click continue. Then I'm told Fidelity needs to authorize my accounts, so I click the 'sign in' button.
This is all as I expected so far. Quicken then opens a browser window to Fidelity where it presumably would ask me to log in. But instead, I get a message, "Try again. Sorry, we can't link your account right now. Try again later."
I have been trying for over a week and receiving the same response.
I attempted to clear cookies from my browser, that didn't help. Then I cleared the browser cache. Again, no difference.
I am using Firefox as my browser (latest 152 release). I'm current on Quicken release (Premier R67.10). I'm up to date on Windows 11 Pro 25H2 installation.
My other online accounts are currently working ok.
I have had other Fidelity accounts linked in Quicken in the past, but those accounts have been closed.
Are there known issues at the moment with Fidelity? I tried searching and found a few topics, but basic linking didn't seem to be a known problem…
