Keyboard shortcuts in Date fields not working

Question

The keyboard shortcuts in Date fields, namely:+
-
Today
MontH
YeaR

…have stopped working. I saw a very similar post from 2023, but I am not sure if their issue was resolved. My issue is specific to the dates in the report field; the shortcuts work fine in the registers. Example below:

I have tried creating a new file to test, and the same problem is experienced there, so doing a Validate will not likely resolve my issue.

I tried switching the Keyboard Mappings preference, which was originally set for Windows Standard to Quicken Standard, but that didn't do anything, so I switched it back.

I am on version R67.10; when I checked for an update, I was advised that I already have the most recent version of Quicken.

My data file is saved to a folder on my computer, not to OneDrive or any other external storage.

Any other users having this experience? Any ideas on how this can be resolved?

Thank you! After looking at the thread of AndrewQ's post, I tested this on Standard Reports. Yes! I tested a Standard Net Worth report (not one that I saved), and in the date field today's date popped up so I entered an "m" and the date changed to 7/1/26. Entered a "t" and changed back to 7/2/26! Now, how do we fix this problem with Saved Reports?

@Procopio the typical reason date shortcuts don’t work is due to using any Windows short date format other than mm/dd/yyyy. What is your Windows short date format?
