How do I display the transaction register view?

I installed Q Classic Premiere on a new laptop running Win11 Home fully updated, created a backup on my old installation, and restored the backup on the new installation. All I get is a dashboard view with a bunch of panels. I can't see any data or register. Do I need to recreate the web connections to the accounts of the data file? I can't move forward until this is working.

Any help will be appreciated!

If you still have the old installation maybe try just copying the data file over rather than doing a backup.

Why does Intuit have you jump through hoops with a backup/restore when just copying the data file solved the entire issue. Thanks for the help bmciance!

Is your Account bar hidden? Do you see this at the top left of the screen?

If so, click on the triangle to the left of Accounts to open your Account bar. Then you can select a register to see transactions.

That opened it, but no accounts were displayed. I clicked the icon to update accounts

and Q said there are no accounts to update. The file I backed up and restored had 5 bank accounts and 2 credit card accounts. ???

For setting up a new install I always just copy the data file. I only use my backup files if I run into an issue with my file and need to restore back before I made changes.
